An ethical issue

Based on a true story:
I bought to items in the shop today. When leaving the shop I found out that the cashier unintentionally forgot to scan one of the products, thus I paid only one item instead of two.

Should I go back and pay the missing one? Or should I be happy about the snip? What would have been your decision?
